Legal Mapping & Land Registry

When buying or selling land contract maps have to be prepared for the vendor as a result of possible land sub-division. We consult and meet the vendor’s solicitor on our client’s behalf and verify their requirements. The appropriate legal map is then duly prepared and certified by us, and if requested we can also duly mark the decided site boundaries physically on the site for the vendor/purchaser.

It is also recommended that you should have the plot of land being purchased or indeed sold, surveyed so as to have total and absolute confirmation of the exact area of the land without totally relying on either old land registry mapping or us maps.

Land Registry maps can also be checked and verified for clients also.

Boundary Surveys

An age old common dispute is boundary disputes between two or more adjoining properties, where conflicting views exist between parties as to where the true line of the actual boundary should be. The disputes can be lengthy and costly to all parties if not dealt with in the proper manner and it is advised that professional advice and consultation should be seeked to regularise the matter in a courteous manner amenable to all relevant parties.

We have experienced surveyors familiar with these disputes, whom will visit your property, interpret the situation, conduct a survey and advise of the proper procedure to pursue after the conclusion of the survey and cross checking with all relevant maps available old and new.

New updated maps of the site, structures, services, or boundaries will be drafted from the survey findings and findings discussed with client to clarify their legal standing.

GPS Surveys

Using the latest technology in surveying we can provide very accurate positional surveys to locate existing structures, boundaries, natural surface features over a wide area. We also can provide contour maps of land to illustrate land topography, an extremely useful service which benefits engineers and consultants in preparing site service designs.

Setting Out

This is a service we offer whereby we can “set out” on the ground the exact location of future buildings to be built there, based on site layout plans and construction plans supplied to us, so as groundwork contractors know in advance where to dig on site.

Land Area Checks
